Upon liberation in 1945, he was able to source a Nazi journal and record his experiences in the camp. Fidler’s written testimony, self-published by Nikolaus Rexroth in 2024 and titled Kazimierz Fidler. Pamiętnik 1940–45 (Kazimierz Fidler. Erinnerungen 1940–45), was transcribed and translated by Hans Gregor Njemz. The format of the publication matches that of the original document and includes scans of the original pages.
