Growing Up Gropius
To promote an audio-walk through Gropiusstadt, a satellite town in Berlin-Neukölln, a series of posters were designed for the U-Bahn-Station Johannisthaler Chaussee. The posters were commissioned by the Bauhaus Agenten, who realised the project with artist Alexandre Decoupigny and pupils of the Walter-Gropius-School. Between 1962 and 1975, Walter Gropius planned and built this large housing estate, consisting of 18,500 units. The Bauhaus Agenten create and coordinate the mediation program of the Bauhaus Museums, developing new collaborative formats for museum education and outreach.
