Protocol’s 9th issue focuses on the topic of Fehler and is entirely printed with the iris technique: three spot colours mixed on press to achieve natural gradients for all images and text. Including a custom-type modification based on Imago (by Günter Gerhard Lange released in 1982): the overshoot on the round glyphs was reversed, intentionally exaggerating optical flaw. Created together with Nora Hollstein and exhibited at the 28th International Biennial of Graphic Design Brno, 2018.
